Walea Dive Resort

Welcome To Indonesia
Walea Dive resort
Our beaches are completely natural and untouched.

Walea beaches located on Waleabahi Island of Togian archipelago in the heart of Central Sulawesi in Indonesia. Togian archipelago, which is crossed by the equator, is composed by a handful of islands thrown like dices into the wide Gulf of Tomini that embraces Tomini Sea, also known as Sulawesi Sea. Thanks to this particular geographical position, Waleabahi, like all other islands in Togian archipelago, has a unique microclimate different from the ones that can be found in the nearby coast cities.

At Walea beach summer lasts all year due to its location on the equator and also to the big gulf that surrounds the archipelago protecting it from Asian monsoons and Australian winter storms. Most days are consequentially bright and sunny and the short tropical rainfalls are well spread during the year and normally occur after sunset or during the night. This makes it possible for the temperature to vary only about 4 degrees throughout the year and to keep a stable average temperature of 32 degrees; water temperature is equally pleasant with its constant 29-31 degrees.
