Jailolo Bay Festival or Teluk Jailolo Festival is an annual event held by the Tourism Department of West Halmahera for the purpose of promoting the potential for tourism, natural resources, culture, also business in the area of Jailolo, West Halmahera. For those of you who are interested in exploring deeper into the beauty of their natural habitat and culture, there will be a variety of fun events such as; parade, exhibition, spice expo, taking a walk through the spice garden for the spice trip event, fishing contest, swimming contest, rowing contest, fun diving where you can participate in replanting corrals reefs, Sigofi Ngolo sea ritual, also a cultural party by the beach to feast on traditional cuisines with the locals.

Jailolo Bay is a volcanic complex on a peninsula, west of Halmahera island part of indonesian archipelago  indonesia. It has lava flows on the eastern flank, small caldera at the west and southwest of the mountain, hot springs along the northwest coast of the caldera. Small volcanic island was formed by the Kailupa cone, off the southern coast of the peninsula.

 and won a special United Nations Award in 2012.

Pemuteran Bay is one of the hidden gems of Bali. A place with beautiful scenery, award winning coral reefs and a serene beach far away from the hustle bustle of south Bali. A perfect place to see a still unspoiled Bali with a long list of highlights to experience.

Pemuteran is located in the North West coast of Bali, approximately 3,5 hours drive from the Airport in Denpasar. This route is one of the most interesting and scenic tours in Bali. Lovina is 45 minutes and it is about 20 minutes drive to Bali Barat National Park and Menjangan island diving site. The ferry to Java at Gilimanuk is 30 minutes.

This peaceful place is ideal for nature excursions, activities such as trekking at the National Park, Swimming, Snorkelling, Diving or exploring the sacred Temples surrounding the area such as Melanting, Kerta Kawat, Pulaki, Pabean and Pemuteran Temple. Pemuteran receives less rainfall than other island areas during the rainy season. It is therefore one of the best destinations to choose in Bali for November – April.
The sea is calm and free of strong currents and waves, which affect most other parts of the island. The bay has the largest area of shallow coral reefs in Bali. Pemuteran community declared that the reefs are protected no-fishing zones, for eco-tourism use only. The Biorock project is the largest reef restoration in the world and won a special United Nations Award in 2012

Sail Tomini Event To Be Held In September 2015 

The annual Sail Indonesia event will be held in Tomini, Central Sulawesi, in September 2015 in an effort to accelerate economic growth and develop marine tourism destinations in Indonesia.
Bank Indonesia’s Central Sulawesi head Purjoko said that the Sail Tomini 2015 would benefit the province in many ways, especially in its tourism and hospitality industry.

He said that the number of domestic and international tourists to the province rose by 10.53 percent during the fourth quarter of the year compared to the same qu
arter in the previous year.

The sail, which will be held in September this year, is expected to help increase the number of travelers to the province at the end of the third quarter of 2015.

In addition, Central Sulawesi Governor Longki Djanggola said that the sailing event would not only benefit the province in terms of its tourism sector but also strengthen its position as a safe and conducive province.

and Longki said that he has encouraged the locals to help support these event
